PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Course

The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner course explores practical application of the PRINCE2 Agile method with real-world scenarios.

The course begins with an overview of the basic concepts of common Agile ways of working. It progresses to being able to apply or tailor the PRINCE2 principles to a project in an Agile context.

The purpose of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification is to confirm whether a candidate has achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor PRINCE2 Agile in a scenario situation.

Objectives

Following the completion of the course participants should:

Understand the basic concepts of common agile ways of working
Understand the purpose and context for combining PRINCE2 and the agile way of working
Apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context
Fix and flex the six aspects of a project in an agile context
Apply or tailor the PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products to a project in an agile context
Learn through the use of theory and practical exercises
Pass the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam.

Target Audience

Project and Programme Managers who hold a current PRINCE2 or PRINCE2 Agile Foundation qualification
Key staff involved with integrating project management with product delivery.

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Exam

2.5 hours
Objective Test Questions based on a case study scenario
5 sets of multiple choice questions (50 questions in total)
60% pass mark
Open book (PRINCE2 Agile manual only)

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from PeopleCert.

Prerequisites

Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read and studied before attending the course.

To take the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam you must provide proof of having passed one of the following project management certifications:

PRINCE2 Foundation
PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
IPMA Level A®, B®, C® or D®.
